Searches for Cooking Fever free gems codes turn up two kinds of page: lists of codes that never work, and generators that stop at a survey. The truth sits between them. Nordcurrent does run a code redemption system, but it issues codes only through its own events, and no public list of working codes exists. This guide explains the official system, what the scam pages actually do, and where real free gems come from. It is part of our Cooking Fever guides.
Does Cooking Fever have a redeem code system?
Yes. Nordcurrent runs a redemption page on its own store site, and Cooking Fever is one of the games listed there, next to Cooking Fever Duels, Airplane Chefs and the studio’s other titles. The page says codes are earned by taking part in events and activities Nordcurrent organises in its games and on its social channels. Redeeming takes three steps: enter the code, log in with your Nordcurrent ID, claim the reward. It is then delivered inside the game.
What Nordcurrent does not do is publish a standing list. There is no monthly code drop and no permanent free gems code. A code exists because you took part in a specific event, and it belongs to that event. We found no Nordcurrent support article that lists codes, which is the clearest sign a public list was never part of the design. If you have no Nordcurrent ID, the redemption page says you can create one from inside the game, and Nordcurrent’s support article describes the ID as the account that saves, transfers and restores your progress.
Why the code lists you find online do not work
Pages that rank for Cooking Fever free gems codes usually show a table of short words or random strings, stamped with this month’s date. None of them say where a code came from. Since Nordcurrent’s own page ties every code to an event, a code on a third party list with no event attached has no reason to be valid. One of the larger lists we checked during research had already been taken down. These pages exist to rank for the search, show ads, and pass you on to the next page.
What generator sites and videos actually do
A generator page asks for your player name, lets you pick an amount of gems, plays a progress bar, then stops at human verification. The verification is the product. You are asked to install apps, complete surveys or start trials, and the site is paid for each one. Your gem balance never moves because it is stored on Nordcurrent’s servers, and a web page has no way to write to it. Videos work the same way through the link in the description, and some point to modified installers.
Nordcurrent’s terms and conditions prohibit cheats, exploits, hacks, mods and any unauthorised third party software that modifies the game. The community wiki also records a free gem glitch that once worked on every platform and was patched in an update. Scam pages still advertise it.
The one test that settles it. If a page asks for anything before it pays out, whether a survey, an app install, a share or your password, it is not a code. Nordcurrent’s real redemption asks only for the code and a Nordcurrent ID login on its own domain.
What Nordcurrent’s official promotions look like
The Community Hub
Nordcurrent’s support article describes the Community Hub as the place for news, team announcements and rewards. You open it with the middle button on the right side of the screen, the one with the people icon. Social media buttons sit on the right of the Hub window, and the article says that checking each one for the first time pays 10 gems per follow.
Friend invites
The Invites tab holds your unique link. According to the same article, you get 25 gems for each of the first four friends who install through your link for the first time and finish the Fast Food Court tutorial. The fifth invite pays a Mystery Box and the promotion ends there. The friend you invited receives 15 gems and 5000 coins.

Where the real free gems come from
Codes are a small, occasional source even when you catch an event. The steady sources are inside the game: levelling up, daily quests, the Calendar of Rewards, the casino, mystery boxes and gem shards, which convert at 9 shards to 1 gem. Only if Nordcurrent is running an event that issues them, and those codes go to participants rather than to public lists. There is no standing code that pays gems to everyone.
