Cookie Policy

Every cookie category this site sets, why, and how to switch each one off.

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on cookingfeverapk.com. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we collect.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember something between page views, such as a choice you made, and lets services like analytics and advertising recognise the same browser across visits. Similar technologies, including web beacons, pixels and local storage, do comparable jobs and are covered by this policy too.

The categories we use

Strictly necessaryRecords your consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every pageThis site
AnalyticsCounts visits, distinguishes sessions, and shows which pages answer people’s questionsGoogle Analytics 4
AdvertisingSelects ads, caps how often you see the same one, and measures whether an ad workedGoogle AdSense and other ad vendors

Strictly necessary cookies are set regardless, because without one the consent banner cannot remember your answer. Analytics and advertising cookies load according to the choice you make.

Advertising cookies in detail

This site is funded by advertising and uses Google AdSense.

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads here.
  • Those cookies let Google and its partners serve ads based on your visit to this site and to other sites on the internet.
  • Other ad networks may also serve ads and set their own cookies, measured with their own technologies.
  • We do not have access to, and cannot read, the cookies that third-party vendors set.

How to control cookies

On this site

Use the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can decline non-essential cookies there, and reopen the banner later to change your mind.

Through Google

Turn off ad personalisation in your Google Ad Settings. Google’s own explanation of how it uses data from sites like this one is in its partner-sites notice.

Through industry opt-outs

Opt out of many vendors at once at aboutads.info/choices or the Network Advertising Initiative.

In your browser

Every major browser can block or clear cookies, and most offer a private browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Nothing on this site breaks if you block cookies; you simply see the consent banner again on your next visit.

Opting out of personalised advertising does not remove ads. It changes how they are chosen, so you see less relevant ones rather than fewer.

Do Not Track

Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal, but there is no agreed standard for how sites should respond, and this site does not currently change its behaviour based on it. Use the consent banner or the opt-out links above instead, which do have a defined effect.

Changes

If we add or remove a service that sets cookies, this page is updated to match. The review date below shows when it was last checked against what the site actually loads.
